AirSafe Application For Teesside University

We have proudly worked with Teesside University for a number of years. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and with the virus very much still here to stay, the university were keen to find out more about our revolutionary sanitiser AirSafe.

At Aircon Group we know Teesside University as a high-performing global institution, committed to delivering an outstanding student and learning experience, through education enriched by research, innovation, and engagement with businesses.

The staff at the university were interested in finding out more about our sanitiser and how it could protect and offer greater reassurance for both their staff and students.

To summarise; our water-based, environmentally friendly sanitiser was developed and distributed in 2020, when coronavirus was aggressively entering society. At Aircon Group, we wanted to develop an effective solution to the worldwide problem.

Our product has the ability to kill 99.9% of enveloped viruses in just 60 seconds and can stay active for up to six months to keep viruses and bacteria at bay.

The volume of work we carried out at Teesside University was massive. We had multiple engineers there on the job and even had the support of some work placement helpers from Redcar & Cleveland College.

The help was very much appreciated and meant that they got the chance to learn about air conditioning maintenance while supporting our engineers by running back and forth to gather equipment from the vans.

Each and every time we work with the staff at Teesside University it is a great experience, and this time was no different. Our strong relationship with them makes each job we undertake simple and fuss-free.

If equipment ever fails at Teesside University, it was our aim to get on site as soon as possible and get the job done because we understand that if something were to break it would be disruptive to university operations, such as timetabled lessons and classrooms needed for use.

AirSafe has been applied to approximately 600 units across the multiple campuses at Teesside University, including water chillers, wall mounts, VRVs, cassettes, fan coil units, and all self-service refrigerators to minimise the risk of cross contamination.
